UCKFIELD MUSIC CLUB
What do we do?
The Uckfield Music Club organises and presents first class chamber music concerts, performed by established artists of national and international renown. It also provides a platform for young, highly gifted, up and coming artists, whose quality has been recognised by prizes and awards in major competitions.
The concerts take place in the beautiful medieval St Margaret’s Church, Buxted Park, by kind permission of the Rector and Church Wardens.
Map & Directions
The Club stages a summer concert season of three concerts, which take place on the 3rd Thursday of May, June and July each year. The concerts begin at 7.30pm. Additionally this year, we are holding a Young Musicians Concert on 30th September 2021.
What does it cost?
On the door tickets are £15 per concert but you can take out a membership subscription for £30 for the year. As well as getting three concerts for the price of two, membership entitles you to a reduction on entry to the AGM recital in November, and a £3 reduction on tickets to the excellent Seaford Music Society and Lewes Nicholas Yonge Music Society. A student ticket costs £2 and accompanied children have free entry.
The Uckfield Music Club is a Registered Charity No 282292. It is delighted to acknowledge the valuable support it receives from Making Music, The Countess of Munster Musical Trust, The Young Classical Artist Trust (YCAT), and the Tillett Trust, in selecting, auditioning and sponsoring highly talented young artists, thus enabling us to ensure our concerts are top class.
